Who has benefitted from StopWaste?
Veritable Vegetable: Reusable Pallet Wraps Veritable Vegetable is an organic produce distributor located in San Francisco, CA. Prior to switching to resuables, they used over 700 miles of plastic wrap each year to secure produce boxes on pallets. The reusable pallet wraps prevent over a ton of plastic waste per year plus help prevent worker injuries. The distributor also saves over $6,000 per year on avoided plastic wrap purchasing costs. Drakes Brewery: Reusable Pallet Wraps Hal From Drakes Brewery: We've been using the wraps a bit more as we picked up a self distribution market and were able to secure all the packaged beer together and reconfigure and secure the load after each delivery. For the most part we have been able to eliminate single use film for on-site transportation and just use it for shipping. These have certainly helped eliminate a large amount of film waste we used to have. |
